Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 Details

The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 brings advanced motion detection to your smart home. It uses mmWave Radar technology for precise tracking. Detect multiple people and falls with ease. Set custom automations for your space. Works with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant. It detects motion without cameras, ensuring your privacy.

Zone Positioning

The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 uses a mmWave Radar Wired Motion Sensor to monitor rooms up to 40 m² (430 sq ft). You can divide the room into up to 30 zones (e.g., sofa, bed, desktop). Set automations for each zone. It’s like having multiple Aqara sensors in one. Note: The FP2 is a wired sensor and needs constant power.

Multi-Person & Fall Detection

The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 detects up to 5 people at once. It triggers actions for each person. Mount it on the ceiling to enable fall detection. The app will alert you if someone falls. (Note: Fall detection works only with ceiling mounting. The FP2 is not a medical device.)

Multi-Ecosystem Support

The Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 works with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant, allowing integration with smart lights, thermostats, plugs, security systems, locks, and more. It doesn’t require an Aqara hub, making setup easy. To use it with Home Assistant, connect it to Aqara Home first.

Ultra-High Precision with Privacy

The mmWave presence sensor uses millimeter-wave radar technology for precise movement detection. It detects even slight movements without false positives. No cameras are needed, ensuring privacy. The FP2 is IPX5 rated and works in wet areas like bathrooms.

Built-In Light Sensor & Local Automations

The built-in light sensor allows you to create lighting automations. It works with Aqara Home, HomeKit, and IFTTT. These automations are processed locally and don’t need the internet. Note: The FP2 is not a Zigbee device. The recommended distance from the router is 393 inches without obstacles.
